Can Acupuncture Relieve Fibromyalgia?

A recent study done by the Mayo Clinic indicates that acupuncture reduces the symptoms of fibromyalgia.

A recent study done by the Mayo Clinic shows acupuncture lowers symptoms of fibromyalgia.

Fibromyalgia shows up as chronic, widespread pain over many parts of the body. There are often other symptoms like fatigue, stiff joints and poor sleep.

The Mayo Clinic study looked at 50 fibromyalgia patients. They did a random control test to see if acupuncture made sypmtoms better. Those patients who got acupuncture made much better progress compared to those who didn’t.

In my clinic, time after time acupuncture is helpful in clearing fibromyalgia symptoms. We will often use herbal formulas as well. And if the patient makes dietary changes we get even better results.
