Grape Seed Extract Goes After Aggressive Cancer Cells
One of the more deadly cancers happens in the colon. Partly this is because it is often not diagnosed before becoming advanced.
And many of the treatments are harsh and not entirely effective.
Now research shows grape seed extract has a powerful effect against this kind of cancer. It seems to selectively target many types of cancer cells.
In this study, it suppressed even advanced, stage IV cancer cells. And it did it at a smaller concentration than it took for lower stages. Pretty impressive.
Keep in mind that this study was done on cultured cancer cells, not in humans. Still, if I were to receive such a diagnosis, I’d certainly consider adding grape seed extract to my treatment.

One Cancer Risk You Can Avoid
No doubt you’ve heard that moderate drinking is good for your heart.
Turns out, not entirely true. Research shows that even one alcoholic drink per day can increase your chance of getting cancer.
So much for the “glass of wine a day” idea for supporting health. One of the researchers summed their finding nicely. Dr. Timothy Naimi said, “On the balance of all people who begin drinking, many more people are killed by alcohol than helped by it.”
And this wasn’t some fringe study. Boston University Medical Center was part of creating the study.
And it didn’t matter what type of drink was consumed. Standard servings of beer (12 ounces), wine (5 ounces), and hard liquor (1.5 ounces) all contain the same amount of alcohol.
I suspect that this effect comes from two things. First, alcohol turns into sugar in the body. Second, your body sees it as a poison. It has to detoxify the poison, which stresses your adrenals and liver.
