Turmeric Produces ‘Remarkable’ Recovery in Alzheimer’s Patients
Turmeric has been used in India for over 5,000 years. And today people there have some of the lowest rates of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) in the world.
A recent study on patients with AD found that less than a gram of turmeric daily, taken for three months, resulted in ‘remarkable improvements.’
Note that this isn’t just slowing the disease. It refers to actually reversing it. That’s pretty amazing.
You might know turmeric as a curry spice. But you can also get it in supplement form. The Latin name for it is curcumin. I take 250 mg of this herb twice a day.

Cholesterol Lowering Statins Provide No Benefit: Study of 4 Million People
Statistics are slippery.
Why? Mostly because they can be massaged to say anything.
One great example of this is the statistics used to claim cholesterol is the cause of heart disease. These numbers led to the creation of the multi-billion dollar statin drugs.
But is this connection real?
That was the question asked in this Swedish study. They studied 4 million people to see if lowering cholesterol with statins reduced heart disease. The result? Those taking the drugs got no heart-protective benefit.
And, of course, that doesn’t even include the awful side-effects of these drugs.
